Is Your Business a Scam?

If you are reading this blog chances are that you are involved in, or considering getting involved in direct sales or ‘home party plan sales’. It is no secret to your customers that when you sell them something from your product line,  you make commission from that sale.

Do the people that you sell to think your product is a scam? Is it wrong for you to make a commission when you sell something?  Of course not!

Would you represent a product or company that you didn’t believe in? Would you sell something that you didn’t think was top quality stuff?    Of course not!

The other day someone unsubscribed from my email list with the following comment. “I didn’t know I was signing up for a scam.” I was (and still am) a little confused. This made me think more about this part of my business.

For those of you that don’t know what I do and who I am…

In addition to running an internet marketing company ( FasterDigital.com ) I  run this website (http://HomeShowPartySales.com ) and ConsultantGames.com .   I have chosen to be involved in these websites because I love motivating and coaching sales people.  I have been directly involved in sales  and managing of people for all of my working career.  I know what works in direct sales.  I read about it and study it every day.  I know how to motivate others to take ownership in their job.  I know how to teach people to become successful salespeople.  I know how to teach you to run successful businesses.

SO…  Why would someone think that this website and email list is a scam?

Maybe they don’t think that the content and tips that I provide are very good.  I will continue to work on my writing to provide the best content and material I can to my readers on a regular basis.   I am also very conscious of  trying to put out more of the ‘No Sales Pitch’ content than I do the ‘Sales Pitch’ content.

Maybe they think that because I try to sell something that the whole thing is a scam????

I make a living working on the internet.  Just like your own businesses, I run this part of my business to make money.  I am lucky that I have found something that can provide true value, benefit, and greater income to my readers while at the same time generating some income for myself. You don’t just sell your product for fun do you?  You want to make some money while you are selling it.

Only the best material…

From time to time I send out emails telling about “Party Secrets Revealed” and now “The Little Black Book of Home Party Plan Marketing Secrets”.  I have read through about a hundred ebooks, books, online courses, etc… that teach sales and business building skills.  I feel that  these two products are the best out there for my readers.

Do I make money when you buy these books?  Absolutely.  I get a commission on them.  Just like you get a commission when you make a sale.  It is no different.

I would not suggest anything to you if I did not believe that it was REALLY good stuff.  My goal here is to have readers that stick around.  If I gave you junk you would leave pretty quickly. If you ever feel that a blog post or article was not up to par, or if you have any comments, complaints, critisism, or compliments, PLEASE email me or leave a comment on the blog.  Just like you I want to continue to improve my business.  I will gladly take any help I can get.

So please keep reading my emails.  Go out on the web and find other sources of business education.  Keep studying and working to build your business.  Together we can be very successful!
