If you haven’t already experienced this yourself you soon will.  When you begin your journey to success as a direct sales / home show party consultant you’re going to hear a few snickers here and there.  This could come from close friends, co-workers, even family members.  You could even have people in your life who will straight out laugh at you and tell you your not going to make it. They will tell you that no one wants to buy your product.  They will tell you that direct selling is a scam.  They will tell you that no one wants to host a home show party.  However, when you learn to ignore these people you will be the one laughing all the way to the bank.

I am not sure exactly what it is about the home show party business or the direct sales business that people don’t trust.  I am not sure exactly why it is that whenever someone decides to do something that’s a little bit different or out of the ordinary it makes others so uncomfortable. People are comfortable with their jobs. Some people say that they like having a boss, having an office and having a steady paycheck.  In fact that is what 99% of the world deems to be safe and normal.

The idea of giving up what 99% of the world thinks is normal to start your own home party business might seem a little crazy to others because they don’t fully understand it. Most people in the world were simply born to be employees.  For them there’s nothing wrong with that.  You will just have to learn to shrug it off when people question you.  The rewards of working from home and being your own boss are more than worth it!

If the negativity of friends or family hurts you, take all of that negative energy and focus it into working even harder to prove them wrong. They will not be able to argue with results.  When people see all the extra money you are making, see you driving a better car and having an all around living a better life. They’ll be forced to eat their words, and they will start asking you how to do it for themselves.  They will suddenly think that the home show party business might just be a good thing!

You will not get the big rewards in life without taking some risks. It may seem as if you’re doing something completely crazy.  However,  if you work hard and continue to grow you will see the results more and more.  Over time everyone else around you will see these results as well.   Ignore the negative voices,  follow your own voice you’ll end up laughing all the way to the bank.
